Why in the world would I start a cooking blog? Well, for starters, I love to eat. I also love my husband, who happens to be a talented chef without a lot of time to sit around and write--more cooking, less time spent on anything else--so I thought it would be interesting to catalogue our first year of marriage through the lens of the restaurant industry. The intent behind this blog, is to capture some of the amazing dishes that Darren spins out of nowhere, to follow him behind the scenes as a chef through some really cool events and places, and to simply have some fun with food and drink ;). As we rapidly approach our second month of wedded bliss, I look forward to kicking off what I hope will turn into a really enjoyable read and provide a snapshot of what being a chef is really like: ie: what the cooking shows are scared to tell you...
